Spartan Executive

For the 500th post on this blog I want to feature one of my favorite airplanes. The Spartan 7W Executive. Its art deco lines, polished metal and round motor just put it in a class all its own. When biplanes were propionate Spartan rolls this out of the hangar and impresses the aviation industry.


34 production models were built. That is a limited production run in the late 1930s. During World War Two several served in military service and training. In this day and age they are a pampered collectors airplane. 20 airframes survive. To see where they are today... take a look at our web page.
