|Our view of the Oshkosh Airshow from a Bell 47 helicopter!|
Summer 2021 plans came together for our son and I to make the big trip to EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI. We had a grand time and I was so excited to show him this big aviation family reunion. My boys face when he saw all the airplanes parked on the field was priceless! I have been posting photos over on my Instagram feed so check our photo highlights there.
Also be sure to budget a good chunk of time to cruising through the EAA Flickr Photo Feed. Links below!

A great story in General Aviation News about Elliott Block and his Craigs List find. Read about his Cessna 140A and the social media friends that encouraged the Cessna purchase.

Are you ready for Oshkosh? Looking forward to summer airshows and aviation museum visits? Taking your kids to experience the sites and sounds of the World War Two Warbirds? Take along this Spotter’s Guide so they can identify, learn the specifications and chat with the pilots about these aircraft. 36 pages and full of color photos. Great booklet to have on hand at your local aviation museum. Click on link below to order your copy for the next airshow.

Happy New Year and off we go in to 2021! The last two days were spent in the Another Time archives and photo vault researching the Lockheed Vega. What a machine Lockheed produced. Earhart and Post made them famous with record breaking flights. Of the 129 built on 6 airframes survive. Two are flyable and one is in restoration. Visit our new web page listing the survivors.
