A few weeks ago I was offered a ride in one of my favorite airplanes. While visiting the Mid America Flight Museum in East Texas I was able to jump in for a flight in Robin serial number 237, NC3277G. This Robin was used in the movie "Pearl" and it well taken care of here in Texas. The roomy cabin for two offers good visibility out the side windows and is very stable. Over 700 were produced but they are rarely seen in numbers today. So it was a fun treat to fly in this vintage ship.
Another Time is a continuously growing research library focused on aircraft manufactured between 1930 and 1950. We provide detailed information, advertisements, books, drawings and photos to aircraft owners, artists, researchers, restorers, industry writers, etc. Here we post commentary on researching, restoring and flying vintage aircraft from another time.
