"Typically when someone refers to West Texas, people imagine cowboys with giant ten-gallon hats and belt buckles the size of dinner plates riding horseback on cattle-filled ranchland. When someone refers to a West Texas airport some may imagine a sleepy, quite ramp with more rolling sagebrush than one filled with vintage airplanes. For two young boys, however, West Texas was where they would encounter World War Two aircraft and dreams of flying would be born."

Breckenride Airshows were my highlight in the month of May, drove down from Cleveland many times to partake in Howard Pardues great hospitality and shows, Howard is sorely missed as well as the Breckenridge shows, glad someone has put a book together on this event
