In thumbing thru the latest SPORT AVIATION magazine I came across a short article about a GeeBee R-1 project. The R-1 is the 1340 powered racer so this will be quite the beast! (Edit - the link to the web site has been removed. The project web site has disappeared. Sorry! Maybe one day the R-1 replica will just show up at an airshow near you.)
