Matching Cadets

Oshkosh has really kicked into high gear and a lot of pictures are hitting the forums and news sites. One article off of EAAs web site was a fun read. The Morris family completed the restoration of two Culver Cadets and they are on display at Oshkosh this year. Read the article here. To read the detail story of the restoration of one of the Cadets and view the series of pictures go to Taildragger Aviation. A few months back I received a picture from the Morris' of one of the Cadets airborne. Outstanding restoration of one of the little known vintage cruisers!

Another Spartan to the U.K.

NC17615 has been spotted in Greenland on its way to the U.K. So this makes two Spartan's that will be based far from their homeland. Hope to post a few pictures of it at its new home when I can round them up.

July 4th Flying

About two weeks ago I had a crew from Detail Werks come out and help me catch up on my polishing. They did a professional job and the shine is the best it has been in years. I highly recommend these guys. If you have a polished airplane and you are in the DFW area. Give Brian a call and tell him Dan sent you.
July 4th my buddy Jay and I took to the skies. It was warm and bumpy but worth the flight. We also took some time to shoot some videos of the flying. Hope to release that video soon. The picture above was taken out in the sunshine so the new polish job can be seen at its best!
